Making a Difference, One Life at a Time.

At the heart of Stevens County lies an organization committed to hope and empowerment – the Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center (DAC).

Since 1969, the Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center has been a cornerstone in our community, providing person-centered day and employment services to individuals of all with disabilities.

Our vision is simple. We believe that the power of individuality leads the way to success and fulfillment.

At the Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center, we provide the opportunities for individuals to meet their goals, support his or her own choices, and achieve their dreams of meaningful work and life experiences.

We help people to create their own, individualized plans and assist them on their journey, by creating opportunities that deepen their connections to the people, places and things that matter to them. This vision is the heart and soul of everything we do.

Our services are presented in a manner that is age-appropriate and respectful of the dignity of the people we serve. Our comprehensive program recognizes the importance of balance in life by presenting a variety of options for people each day to build on the skills they already have that are necessary for healthy living and successful employment.

We strive to increase individuals’ integration within the community and interaction with others. We support many individuals with community employment, focusing on the skills that lead to greater productivity and income.

At the Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center, we’re not just making a difference one life at a time, we’re creating a vibrant, inclusive community where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive.
