Who We Serve
Incredible Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Related Conditions.
At the Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center, every individual is at the heart of our community. We serve adults with a diverse range of developmental abilities, assisting them in navigating intellectual, physical, social, and other unique challenges.
Our mission is to help persons served create a life that’s uniquely theirs. We understand each person we serve has his or her own set of aspirations, strengths, and potential. That’s why we offer personalized programs designed to empower each person served to reach their individual, physical, social, emotional, and vocational goals.
We strive to create an environment where learning is fun, growth is celebrated, and every day brings new opportunities for joy and fulfillment. We’re not just making a difference one life at a time, we’re creating a vibrant, inclusive community where everyone belongs and everyone thrives.

What Sets Us Apart?

Respect and Dignity
We honor the uniqueness of every person who walks through our doors. Our services are age-appropriate and delivered with utmost respect for individual dignity. We create an environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

Community Integration
At the Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center, we’re all about connections. Individuals actively participate in community life, fostering friendships, and contributing their talents. From volunteering to social events, we’re committed to breaking down barriers and building bridges.

Supported Employment
The majority of the people we serve engage in supported community employment. We collaborate with local businesses, creating mutually beneficial partnerships. The people we serve also have the opportunity to work at our center, gaining valuable skills and contributing to the community.

Pave the Way
Support the Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center
Imagine a path where every brick tells a story — your story. The Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center invites you to leave a lasting legacy and directly support our mission through the “Pave the Way” campaign.
With the suggested contribution starting at just $250, you can engrave a brick with a message of your choice. Whether it’s to honor a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or simply to show your support, your message will be set in stone, quite literally, as a permanent fixture in our welcoming patio walkway.
Your engraved brick isn’t just a marker; it’s a pledge that helps us continue to deliver exceptional services to the developmentally disabled members of our community. It’s a brick that builds more than just a path — it builds futures.
Participating is easy:
1. Download the order form from our website.
2. Personalize your brick with your special message.
3. Send it back to us using the details provided.
We gather these stories in stone throughout the year and lay them down each spring/summer to celebrate the contributions and connections within our community.
Be a part of the path we’re building together — sponsor a brick today and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow at Stevens County Developmental Achievement Center.
